Children rely on their parents for safety and emotional support. It’s your duty as a parent to reassure your children that you are with them and the family will get through this COVID together. It is ok to say that people are getting sick because of the virus but if we follow simple rules like washing hands frequently and stay home the family will stay healthy.  25th June 2020 The very topic is suggestive of a temporary shift of instructional delivery to an alternate delivery model due to crisis circumstances created by the Novel Corona Virus 2019. To respond to this situation, the world over, schools and educators are trying to transfer their normal curriculum to an online format and it is not an easy job. Even the other stakeholders- the parents and students are struggling to embrace this change. This pandemic pedagogy might be a temporary and emergency shift but keeping the unknown future in view might well pave the way for a more prepared pedagogy for a variety of learners and circumstances that might crop up in the future. 21st June 2020 It might sound outrageous to state that today education system kills creativity and today's schools are criminally boring places for our kids. In most parts of our Country, we still follow the one-size-fits-all way of teaching- almost the factory style of education, barring a few progressive schools that are really driving in some changes in the teaching-learning process. Our kids today are living through the most information-rich age in history. They are bombarded with information through the T.V and the internet. They are in a way hyper-stimulated and unfortunately our response is to punish them for getting distracted from boring stuff in school. Education in our country and more so in this part of West Bengal is about compliance and conformity and strict adherence to standardized curricula and standard testing, which need to change if we really are to prepare our children for the unforeseen future. We have a mindset that has been passed on for generations
